THE MOAT by Chris Orzechowski: Chris was kind enough to let me review his book and the timing couldn’t have been better. I’m launching my own bookstore in January and I need all the help I can get. If you plan to sell ANYTHING online, I highly recommend this book. Dude is a master at ecomm.
NINTH HOUSE by Leigh Bardugo: She’s known for Shadow and Bone, but Leigh Bardugo has created other (terrifying) worlds than the Grisha-verse. Secret societies, magic, and horror… this one is right up my alley.
THE INVENTION OF MURDER by Judith Flanders: Murder mysteries and detective fiction are everywhere. It’s so popular, it can be hard to find someone who doesn’t like it. How did it get that way? This book explores murder in nineteenth-century England, and some of the cases that captivated the Victorians and gave rise to the first detective fiction.
